Problem
Preparing for Scandinavian driving theory exams is often stressful, overwhelming, and rigid. Expat communities face severe language barriers due to limited localized study tools, while traditional test preparation apps rely on passive memorization without explaining the core logic behind complex traffic rules. Additionally, users lack structured motivation mechanisms, leading to inconsistent study routines and high exam failure rates.
Solution
Developed a modern, cross-platform mobile application that gamifies test preparation, provides real-time AI tutor explanations for incorrect answers, and supports 6+ languages for seamlessly switching between local and native dialects. By integrating daily streak rewards, official timed exam simulations, and voice accessibility features, the platform builds habits, boosts retention, and ensures first-time exam success.
Overview
This project focused on building a gamified, multi-lingual driving theory test preparation mobile app targeting the Swedish and Norwegian markets. Bkörkortsteori combines AI-powered mock exam simulations, daily streak mechanics, and localized multi-language accessibility to help student drivers pass their passenger car theory exams (Class B) with confidence. The platform offers real monetization incentives turning daily study habits into actual discounts and free study resources.
