Case study

ARTrail

Problem

Physical public art is static, high-cost, and limited by real-world physical space, while digital creators lack location-based tools to showcase immersive AR experiences in public environments. Additionally, communities and organizations lack a structured, interactive platform to discover, fund, or commission local AR activations and engage audiences dynamically.

Solution

Developed a location-aware AR platform that allows creators to anchor digital artwork to real-world locations, enables users to explore and interact with AR trails in their physical environments, and provides tools for community engagement, commissions, and content management without real-world physical restrictions.

Overview

This project focuses on bridging physical public spaces with digital creativity by enabling artists and communities to discover, experience, and co-create Augmented Reality (AR) murals and public art. ARTrail provides an interactive platform that transforms ordinary urban environments into dynamic, location-based digital galleries. The system offers seamless AR visualization, community commission tools, and a centralized management hub to make digital art accessible and engaging in the real world.

How we delivered

Our delivery rhythm stays consistent across products: discovery and scope alignment, design and technical planning in parallel, iterative build with demos your stakeholders can react to, and a launch checklist that covers performance, accessibility, monitoring, and handoff documentation. We prefer incremental releases over big-bang launches whenever the business can validate earlier.

Design and engineering stay paired throughout implementation so interface details, API contracts, and edge cases are resolved together. That pairing reduces rework and keeps the shipped product faithful to the intent agreed in discovery.

After go-live we can stay on for enhancements, operational support, or a clean handoff to your in-house team — whichever match your capacity and roadmap. The goal is always the same: software that keeps working when real users, real data, and real edge cases show up.

Every launch includes a short runbook for your team: how deployments work, where to watch errors, and who to contact when something unexpected appears in production. That handoff is part of the product, not an optional extra.

We also capture the open questions that did not make the first release so your backlog reflects reality instead of wishful thinking.
